Ski Club Vail feels quake in Japan
NAEBA, Japan — Ski and Snowboard Club Vail athletes and Coach Nigel Cooper felt the ground shaking Friday as an 8.9-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Japan — they were in their hotel at the Naeba ski resort, in Niigata Prefecture, Japan, tuning their skis when the quake hit.

Vail Resorts to invest million in Northstar
