Question: I am planning on getting engaged this weekend and want to know what you think about my plan?
I am going to surprise her with a trip to cape cod, i know it is off season but we spends summers there and it is where we fell in love. I booked a spa suite at the chatham bars inn, her favorite hotel but usually far too pricey for us, only make it there once a year in a normal room. As far as how i am going to do it i am looking for suggestions. On the beach is a little cold for this time of year.

Does the suite have a balcony? Take her out on it and as she’s admiring the sunset, drop to your knee.

I live in Ma and I do agree the beach is far too cold. Im freezing my ass of in my house never mind outside. Maybe they have a room with a view of the beach? If not you could always have her bundle up and take a walk on the beach and propose, but like i said bundle up…lol… maybe take her ice skating somewhere local and propose there?
Maybe write Will You Marry Me? or Marry Me in the sand? im sure you will think of something. and congrats a dear.

I don’t know how silly you are but I browsed the website and the first thing that came to mind was having a window view for dinner and maybe having 3 or 4 people dressed up like lobsters (if you are not that silly some other type of “character” ) walking around outside. After they have everyones attention (what the heck are they doing out there?) maybe have one of the restaurant guys go out like they are speaking to them and asking them to leave) and have him lead them to your window (but near enough for everyone to see) and they hold up signs that say (name) will you marry me?
